Disclaimer

Jio Insurance Broking Limited ("JIBL") is a licensed Direct Insurance Broker (Life & General) under Registration No. 347, valid till 11/03/2028 (Renewable), regulated by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI). JIBL provides this Platform to facilitate the registration, training, and verification of individuals ("Users") aspiring to be engaged as Point of Sales Persons (POSPs).

1. Nature of Platform and User Status

The content, training modules, and assessments provided on this Platform are intended solely for training and onboarding purposes.

• No Automatic Appointment: Registration on this Platform, completion of KYC, or passing of examinations does not automatically confer the status of a Point of Sales Person (POSP) or an employee of JIBL.
• Separate Agreement Required: A User shall be designated as a POSP and authorized to solicit insurance business only upon the successful execution of a separate, definitive agreement between the User and JIBL, following the satisfactory completion of all regulatory and internal requirements. Until such an agreement is executed, the User has no authority to represent JIBL or solicit insurance business.

2. Platform Usage and Warranty Disclaimer

The Platform and its associated digital tools are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

• No Warranties: JIBL disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement regarding the training material or platform functionality.
• Availability: JIBL does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or suitability of the Platform for any individual purpose. System downtimes, maintenance, or external factors (such as network failures) may affect Platform availability.
• Content Accuracy: While JIBL strives to keep training materials updated, it does not guarantee that the information provided covers all aspects of insurance law or products. Users are advised to refer to official IRDAI regulations for authoritative information.

3. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

All information, training material, videos, quizzes, and data available on this Platform are confidential and proprietary to JIBL.

• Restricted Use: You may use the content strictly for your personal learning and certification process as a registered User.
• Prohibitions: Reproduction, recording, external distribution, sharing of login credentials, or unauthorized access to this material is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension of access and legal consequences.

4. User Conduct and Anti-Fraud Assurance

Users are expected to maintain high standards of integrity during the onboarding process.

• Authenticity: You confirm that all details, documents, and KYC information submitted by you are true, complete, and belong to you.
• Exam Integrity: Any attempt to use unfair means, impersonation, or assistance during mandatory training examinations is strictly prohibited.
• Consequences: JIBL reserves the right to audit, monitor, and immediately terminate the access of any User suspected of fraud, data tampering, misrepresentation, or breach of these obligations.

5. Consent and Use of Information

By accessing the Platform and/or submitting your information:

• Verification: You consent to JIBL sharing relevant information with third-party service providers (such as verification agencies, training partners, or government databases) solely for the purpose of identity verification, background checks, and regulatory compliance.
• Communication: You authorize JIBL to contact you via phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, email, or any other mode, even if you are registered with the National Do Not Call (NDNC) registry, for providing assistance related to the onboarding process.

6. General Regulatory Disclosures

• Subject Matter: Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation.
• Prohibition of Rebates: Users are hereby informed that under Section 41 of the Insurance Act, 1938, offering or accepting any rebate, commission, or incentive to induce a person to take out insurance is prohibited by law.
• Tax Benefits: Tax benefits (if mentioned in any training material) are governed by prevailing laws and are subject to change.

Standard Terms of Use apply. This Platform is a facilitator for training and onboarding. JIBL shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Platform. All insurance products eventually solicited (post-appointment) are underwritten by IRDAI-registered insurers and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
